Chief Crowfoot School is an elementary school and Junior High as we offer Nursery to Grade 8 programs. Our school delivers Alberta Education curriculum to approximately 190-200 students annually.  For our students to be successful in their academics, daily attendance is expected. All subjects taught are outlined in the Alberta Program of Studies and we also integrate the Siksika Ways of Knowing into our teachings.

We have changed our Special Education name to Treasured Children and we offer pull out programs to assist with academic learning for our coded students.  We have about 21 coded students who congregate daily for a one 45-minute period in the TC classroom, with about 4-6 students per period.  We have Education Assistants assist in classrooms because we have a full Inclusion Programfor coded students.

We also offer various services for our students such as Speech & Language, Dental Therapist, Family Liaison, and a Parent/Student Support Worker.  We have an Elder Program with an Elder coming into the school at least once a week to share their knowledge with students to assist with improving social skills and self-esteem.  They also mentor students and they learn our traditional and cultural ways through story telling.

Siksika Language & Culture is also offered three times per week for each grade so as to instil pride, respect and confidence in the Siksika Heritage through Story-Telling, Hand Game, Drumming Club, Culture Camp, and Elder involvement.

We are situated on the east end of Siksika Nation which is about an hour east of Calgary, Alberta on Highway #1.
